Seringkali dalam masyarakat kita ada mitos atau sebuah kejadian yang agak tidak masuk akal terjadi, setelah belum lama ini di daerah Buton Sulawesi Tenggara ditemukan Pohon Pinang Berwajah Manusia, kini di daerah Desa Bungko Kotamobagu Selatan Sulawesi Utara digegerkan dengan suara desahan seperti layaknya nafas manusia terdengar di sebatang pohon mangga. Mereka menduga suara desahan tersebut keluar dari dedaunan pohon mangga tersebut.
Sontak kabar angin yang berhembus membuat warga berbondong-bondong ingin mendengar dan menyaksikan sendiri keanehan tersebut. Seperti yang dikutip ruanghati.com dari Tribunnews mengungkapkan “Usai Salat Subuh, banyak orang yang datang. Ada yang tunggu begadang,” ungkap Hamran Datundugon, guru SMP Mengkang. Hasilnya lanjut Hamran, mereka mengaku sempat mendengarkan suara desahan itu. Dipercayai keluar dari daun mangga itu. “Sama dengan bernafas,” kata Hamran sembari memperdengarkan hasil rekamannya kepada Tribun, Kamis (7/10/2010).
Lanjutnya, “Hampir semua daun, apalagi daun yang lebih muda. Bunyinya lebih keras. Ada bunyinya kita da rekam,” jelasnya. Hamran mengisahkan kejadian aneh itu. Dia ingat, malam itu dia terjaga dari tidurnya ketika mendengar lolongan anjing pada 15 September silam. Hari itu, pukul 02.30 Wita. Awalnya, dia mengira ada orang tak dikenal masuk ke rumahnya. Dia lalu keluar berbekal lampu senter. Namun setelah sorot sana ke mari, dia tak menemukan sesuatu yang mencurigakan. Namun dia mengaku mendengar jelas bunyi seperti desahan.
“Kita senter nda ada orang. Pas dengar ada bunyi nafas di pohon mangga, kita kira pencuri, dari situ kita tahu tu pohon sama deng banafas,” tuturnya. Kendati mendapatkan pengalaman aneh, dia mengaku sejak kejadian itu tidak pernah mengalami peristiwa janggal. Semuanya berjalan seperti biasanya. “Tidak pernah mimpi aneh,” cetusnya.
Seingat Hamran, usia pohon mangga itu baru dua tahun. Awalnya terletak di depan rumah. Karena akan dibuat selokan, bibit mangga itu lalu dipindahkan ke samping rumah. Begitu pengalamannya diketahui orang, warga langsung berbondong-bondong ke rumahnya. Bahkan, dia mengaku kewalahan meladeni warga yang penasaran. Selain memenuhi rumah dan pekaranan, dirinya juga jadi tidak bisa tidur karena selalu ramai orang datang. Sampai-sampai kata Hamran, Sangadi Bungko, yakni kepala desa setempat, memerintahkan dirinya memagari pohon mangganya. Namun belakangan rencana itu batal.
Seorang warga tetangga desa, Herlina Paputungan mengaku pernah mendengarkan suara itu. Seingatnya, dia mendengarnya pukul 10.00 malam. Bahkan klaimnya suara itu meski samar-samar terdengar hingga rumahnya. “Tapi, begitu tersentuh suaranya hilang. Tidak ada angin, soalnya daun tidak bergoyang,” jelasnya coba memberikan pembenaran. Dia mengungkapkan, pernah terjadi kejadian di lokasi seorang perempuan tiba-tiba berteriak-teriak, meracau dalam bahasa Jawa.
Diduga perempuan itu kerasukan ketika ikut membuktikan rasa penasarannya datang ke lokasi. “Dia kerasukan, ngomong pakai bahasa Jawa,” tutur Herlina yang mengaku mengerti isi racauan setelah diterjemahkan artinya oleh sang suami. Kata Herlina, perempuan itu kerasukan selama 10 menit. “Dia bilang, jangan remehkan dan belakangi pohon, dan banyaklah salat,” kata Herlina.
Sepengetahuannya, pohon mangga jenis golek itu baru sekali berbuah. Nah, ketika dihitung jumlah ada tujuh buah. “Saya petik karena ada ibu hamil yang ngidam,” jelasnya. Pengalaman mendengarkan suara desahan juga diungkapkan Hendi, pemuda desa setempat. Dia mengaku, suara menghilang ketika hari beranjak terang.
